Dog Star Sumary

  The narrator is an astronomer. He never like any animal but when he saw Laika helplessly lay on the side of the road he can’t let stop himself from helping her. One day when narrator was sleeping in a friend’s house Laika start barking in the middle of night. Narrator gets up to stop her when the big earthquakes happen, and he had got through it because of Laika. Now he has this chance to go to the moon and she can’t bring Laika with him because of the cost. Narrator had been thinking for a long time and still takes the chance to go to the moon. Laika lost the will to live and die at last.
