Who am I?

Who am I?
             This could be a really deep question.
   I am Jingmin, a 14 year old girl in PAS, grade 9. I am a cheerleader, a basketball player, a hard working student (or i try my best to be), a good friend, a very independent child. I don't have too good of grammar skills nor the spelling skill but i love reading both in chinese and in english. I have a really high interest in biology and i am getting good grades on that class but i don't want to be a nurse or doctor because my family have a lot of doctor already and i don't want to be lock up in the hospital most of my life time.
  I want, love to travel around. Even as a kid i have went a few places already and rarely my mom or dad is with me on trip. I am a independent person, thanks to my mom who don't really want to take care of us. My brother and I have to take taxi to or from school most of times, we have to find our way to everywhere if we want to go anywhere. We have to wash our own cloths, we both know how to cook cause she don't cook tons of times. We learn to take care of our little brother while doing homework. Thanks to mom.
   I love cheerleading, its a part of my life already, i am a strong bace, front and back protecter. I could be anyplace but flyer in cheer, they have try to put me there before but its just too scary for me. I am in cheerleading 3 years now and i am still glade i am in there.
   Join the basketball team is one of the best decision i ever made. It's so close to me that i don't think i could ever live without it now.
   Cheerleading and basketball team are too things i really care about, and believe me, i work my ass off for the thing i care like that.
 
So this is me, everything i say, i do, i think, i wear make up me.

     To me i think betraying a friend is worse than the betraying ones duty because duty is something you can easily make up but friendship is not. I weigh friendship heavier than the duty. Why can i say this so confidently? Because i just went through a whole series of messes than almost drove me crazy. I know it is the best if i have never went through things like this but i think i treasure things better when i have gone  through crazy stuff like the one i went through just last night. Friends help me a lot with everything and betraying something like that is not acceptable for me. My duty would be my own responsibility. One effect a person and the other one effect a group, which is better?

under stress

   People who perform well when facing heart-pounding fear or stress must all have clear mind. That means they know what they are doing, and is sure of what they are going to do. It is important because if people don't have clear mind than they don't know what they are doing in normal condition, than how are they going to know what ever you are going to do when under stress? Also they must have the ability to stay clam under high stress or else they know what to do but they can't do it because they are not clam. One other important quality people must have to perform well under high stress is certain amount of courage because people will run away from the stress if they don't have the courage to face it. Now this might seems silly but that is what people do all the time.
   I have been under stress before and I find these quality is really important. I alway admire, or respect any one who could perform well when acing heart-pounding fear or stress.

Poe's Death

     I think Poe died of too much alcohol in his body because he seems drunk on the rainy day  he get send to the hospital. No one knows where he is nor anyone has seen him the whole week before he get send to the hospital, he might be in some bar and don't want the others to know. Also his body temperature is high like what people usually get when they are drunk. He talk to imaginary things on the wall when he wakes up, which shows his mind is still control by the alcohol. So I think Poe died because there is too much alcohol in his body.

Most dangerous game - old movie

      The most dangerous game have a movie that is made not long after the book is writen. The technology of the movies are still pretty bad at the time so there are some difference between the book and movie. And there are always differences between the book and the movie. The most obious one is the characters, there are a lot more characters in the movie than it is in the book. I don't want to comment but i think it doesn't makes it better. In the open scene the main character in the book is falling off the ship because he heard a big noise. In the movie the ship is craching into a rock and everyone else on the ship other than the main character die. Also in the movie there is this scary (or suppose to be scary) room Grenral Zarof use to scard the person who is about to be hunt but you can't find this room anywhere in the book. We have not finish watching the movie yet but those are the big differences i found between the book and the movie.

scary movies

Yes, i like scary movies a lot because it is fun to scare myself. I would be scare when i watch the movie and want to cover my eyes but i still keep watch it anyways. I sometimes get afraid of night after i watch the movie but the funny thing is i still say yes next time my friend ask me if i want to watch scary movie with her or not. I think there is a part in human's nature, from millions of years ago when human is the week one, is violent and use to be scare all the time and we just can't use to it. Telling ghost story would be an other activity people do to scare themselves.

   Mathilde is a beaitful girl who was born poor. She think she shouldn't have what she had right now, she want to be in the upper class like those ladies with money, dress, beaitful homes..everything. Her husband somehow get a inventation for dance for her but she don't want to go because she have no dress or jewels. Her husban give her the money he was planning to get the gun to buy the dress and Mathilde get a diamond necklace from her friend. That night was wonderful to Mathilde but later she found that she had lost the necklace! They buy a new one to replace the old one and return to her friend. For the next 10 years they work hard to pay the money and Mathide become one of those womens she once depreciate. Than she saw her friend my accident and her friend told her a shocking news...that necklace is fake..

    Of course i have felt the experience of envy others, i don't think anyone have not felt this way before. I envy other people not quit often, at least not often i notice of it. I don't envy the others on things like having a new phone or something i don't have. What happen much more often is I envy other people's friendship. I don't like the way some of my friends are better friends with the ones i don't really know about. I know it is quit ridiculous because i have my own friends that my best friend might not know much of. But some times i just can't stop the feeling. I would not say or express it out because i know i shouldn't have this kind of feeling, and i am a good hider anyways. Even if my friend don't know about it i still feel bad for myself so i  would talk to myself about it and try not to have the feeling. Something like saying "don't be like that" or "hey you have your friends too" to myself over and over. That kind of works for me, i think,  at least i know i am trying. Although it might not work after all, i still do it.

    There are two political sides in Taiwan, blue side and green side. It is cutting Taiwan to half, the upper part and the lower part; the green part and the blue part. With in the city or family this could be the sensitive topic that brought up the arguing or fight. The father told the children so and so is bad and should hate them. The children often blindly believe what their parents told them, and they told their children and their children. The hate pass on, and often grow stronger after generations. It is harder to get rid of after each generation because the children grow up in the environment that hates the opposing side. With the engorgement or pressure of their family the hate would grow stronger and stronger.

The Christmas Memory - Summary

The main character, Buddy, is a 7 years old boy who is friends with his cousin, a 60 something woman. They always made about 30 fruitcakes for their  on Christmas. Friends they had talked to only a few times in their life. They work the whole year to get the money to buy material for the fruitcake. They worked all day to cut the Christmas tree from the forest. They made each other handmade kites because they don't have money to buy the gift. His friend really wanted to get Buddy a bike but she didn't get enough money. After that Christmas Buddy went to a military school and that Christmas become the last Christmas they spend together. Year after year his friend become feebler until one day she couldn't say "its fruitcake's weather" when the fruitcake's weather came.

reflection 1

Something i think i should do to be better is read more. I like reading, even in English, but i just can't find the time to do it this year. I have not read any new chinese book or any outside of class English book sense i become a 9th grader. I really want to change it and read some more new books because i know it is really going to help me and for my own interest too. I really like some of the stories we read and i like the way we talk about things in class.  My favorite activity so far would be the video project. It is really fun. I don't like the tests because some of them are just too long. I don't know what i would like to see in the English class.

I think the middle part of story where it talk about how she slowly get stuck is the most successful part. The whole story is very much believeble, i would not be suprise if i saw this story on the news. The story didn't tell us much about the dirct relationship between the murderer and Caroline. We read about it in third person but i really want to know how the murderer or Caroline feels. Maybe the murderer is nice afterall, Caroline could be the mean one in theird relationship.

    Most of time when you really give your heart to your friend and stay in contect the friendship will realy last for a long time. Other times for not as close friends or the firends moved to some other place and you guys don't dontect anymore the friendship just slowly dissapper.
    Friendship should have: Truest (very important), helping each other, be kind and nive to each other, understanding, can express yourself in front of true friends, give each other your time, LOVE!

 The evil marauders always wonder around my house, trying to steal the precious artwork my father have. No matter how precipitous and high the wall is, the steepness seems no use when the marauders come. We acquiesced to let the police help us, so now there would be policeman walking around our house trying to catch the marauders. It is a exasperation to me when I try to concentrate on my homework. It is so annoying that each day there would be at least one policeman would ring the bill and wonder around my house. The condolences those policeman give us piss me off too, it makes me feel like I am a poor kid or something, which I am not. After a while I begain to retorted the police, but I always feel bad after it because they are here to help us and I really shouldn't have give them the attitude. But i never feel gulit to those ones that have pious actions. I think my reconciliation to the policeman had confuse them a little. Unable to relax at home, I felt languor at school and of course my grades is going right down. Gladly I have my friends that always give me succor and I can reorder my mood before I went home and face the annoying things.

One mystery i have heard about is in a book. A man is going to a town to see a important person. It is a dark, clod night and the man is trying to find a cheap place to sleep. The man find a woman's house that is for traveler to sleep and it all seems quit nice and cheap. Later on in the story the man find out the woman stuff all her pets after they die, and two other man have been to her house never left. Plus the man remember the two man are on the missing people section of the news. The story never told the readers what happen to the man but it lead to a point the readers know what will happen to the man. It stop right before the man gets kill. I think it is a good story to look at and i would recommend my friends to read it, if they have time. In my opinion a good mystery story need to create a good mood in the story, and the ending must be good. The mystery don't have to be resolve because it is a mystery story but the ending must be strong, and thats what makes a mystery nice and fun to read.

I would live my life totally different if I know I am going to die in my 20th birthday. I would try my best on everything, because it might be the last time I could ever do it. I would not wait or hastaite anytime in my short life, I would be weilling to do anything i want. If i want to sky in the winter break, i do it; if i want to stay in my friend's house for weeks, i do it. I will even do all my homework and i will make sure in I get A for everysingle class i have. I would travel like i always want to in my 17th birthday to 19th birthday and spand all my time with my friends and family from my 19th birthday til i die. For me, the most you can do it make someone miss you when you are not there, if you have done that, you live a great life. I will make sure that happen to as many people as possible, i want people to miss me when i die. About what I did for them, what we did together, how retarde we were. If i have live a life i want, i dont mind when i die. If i have not live the life i want, or i wish i would live than i will regrate that i had live on the earth.

  If i could live in anyplace in the world i would live in the mountains, not too far away from the city but in the moutains because there have fresh air, free to express myself, and it is always my dream to live in the moutains. I wish to live not deep inside of the moutains, close enough i can meet with my friends and get my food. I wish to live in nice house there, with all the techonlogy i need. With a file for horseback riding. This is my dream, a place i wish i could live in.

  In 2010 no one would force everyone to be the same. I think people like to be the same themselves. Being the same as others (dressing) in the school makes you feel safe, it make sure you are not left behind from your friends or the “cool ones” in the school. People tend to do that because they think other people are better than them, and if you dress the same as the people better than you that kind of means you are as good as them. However I think most people will not be happy if every part of them are all the same as others. It s too much of pressure and work to do make people all the same.   The narrator is an astronomer. He never like any animal but when he saw Laika helplessly lay on the side of the road he can’t let stop himself from helping her. One day when narrator was sleeping in a friend’s house Laika start barking in the middle of night. Narrator gets up to stop her when the big earthquakes happen, and he had got through it because of Laika. Now he has this chance to go to the moon and she can’t bring Laika with him because of the cost. Narrator had been thinking for a long time and still takes the chance to go to the moon. Laika lost the will to live and die at last.

Initiation sumary

    Millicent is the freshman in Lansing High School. She is sitting in a small, dark room. She will be gone through the initiation for the sorority if she sits one more hour in the dark, and now she is remembering what had happened five days ago. She had always wanted to be in the sorority because they are popular and you will never be along. You can’t talk to any boy and had to do what ever your big sister tells you to do in the five days of initiation. One thing she is really concern about is if she join than she can’t be friend with her best friend Tracy and she would be lock with the girls in the club. So now after all the testing she fined she could be well like without join the sorority and decide not to join it after all the testing she had gone through.

Their parents regret to let them learn magic but they had recover from it now for it is something happen five years ago. Students who are actually been in the situation are all in collage. Of course the police had tried to search for them but there are no used of it. Their story pass on from student to student like what we are doing right now. Bye Julie, have a fun semester.
